Hi @all!
I have a strange issue with 32 Bit SUN JDK (1.4.2) runnning on a 64 Bit
Linux (Debian Lenny).
The runtime starts fine and executes everything as expected. *But* it
tries to read /tmp in between (not triggered by our software! This is
the runtime!) and stalls for about 1.5-2 minutes. This happens every
couple of minutes. Does anybody hear of that phenomenon?
I converted already most parts of the application over and it's running
fine in 64 Bit Java (SUN 1.6). But there is one part that I can't move
so easily. It makes JNI calls to a 32 Bit library. Is there a way to use
a 32 Bit library in a 64 Bit JDK?
