[Charlug] Local System Components

Relatively new to Charlotte (read: I haven't built a system since moving
here) and I am looking to do so. Where in town do people go for parts
that they don't want to order online (aka where shipping makes it worth
buying local)?
Cases (and or monitors) is probably the one thing I'm after since I've
found in other cities (Indianapolis, IN; Denver, CO) that I can get them
nearly as cheap and much easier locally. But I'd be willing to support
the local little guy if it was going to mean only a couple dollars.
So what local non-big box (aka I'm aware that Best Buy and Office Depot
sell components) stores are around? Which ones would you recommend to an
enthusiast who has done their research?
If you are curious I'm looking at...
Case: Antec P183
Power: Nexus RX-8500 (though might go Antec instead)
CPU: Intel Core i7 920
MB: Asus P6T Deluxe
RAM: 6 GB - Crucial or Corsair more than likely
Video: Nvidia GTX 275 - eVGA or Gigabyte more than likely
Storage: WD 300GB Velociraptor
Display: couple of 24+" displays, haven't settled on them,
minimum requirement of 1920x1200
(the rest)
Thanks,
