Hi everybody, here's some info on the ISSA show next week if anyone's interested, Google is our Diamond sponsor and there's lots of Cloud Computing discussions going on.

---------------------- announcement -------------------------

ISSA Members and Interested Parties,
Registration for our April 14 Security Summit in Charlotte is active! Please register an account on our website (www.charlotteissa.com<blocked::http://www.charlotteissa.com/>) and then follow the steps to register for your specific classes.
The cost is as follows:

 *   ISSA Members: Free
 * Partner Organizations (ISACA, InfraGard, Students): $20
 *   All others: $40
 A few things to note:

 * You may attend any class - registering only helps our group determine whether we need to put extra chairs into certain rooms, etc.
 * The registration cost includes food and drinks throughout the day.
 * Registration payments are made over an HTTPS connection to PayPal even though our site only uses HTTP.
 * We do not store your credit card details.
 * You may also register on-site on the day of the event, but registering in advance will save everyone time during check-in.
 * Please be on time - the first speaker will start promptly at 8:30am; be sure to arrive early enough to allow you to check-in first.
 Let me know if you have any questions, and look forward to seeing you there!

On the who are you question: I'm a techie gone over to the dark side selling network security modeling software (shameless plug) which is very cool passive pen-testing analytics running on RHEL/mySql.... oh and mostly a list lurker here and board member of the Charlotte Metro ISSA.
