The LUG Library seems next to unused. Far as I know I'm the only person
who wrote reviews for O'Reilly. Even got me a small spot on their
website a few weeks ago. Maybe it's just a personality difference; I
love reading books and learn better from a page than a class. For the
most part I slept through grad school, read the materials, and got my
edu-ma-cation.
How many folks still use a book to dive into a topic? Do you get more
and better from web-sites? Or do you prefer man pages and hands on
testing? Or something else entirely?
We know there are different learning styles.

and various was to learn (class, read, one on one). Anyone want to speak
up on how they learn best? That might give us as a LUG some ideas on
raising our own bar.
As noted, I read to learn and tend to assimilate although I'm converging
more and more in my old age... How about you?
In other news, a big "THANKS!" to Bob for getting the LUG paperwork.
Organizationally we probably want to figure out where we what to go from
wherever we are.
