[Charlug] Question about cable modem and dhcp

I used to have a really flaky TW connection, too. I reported this to TW,
and they sent out a tech. He took one look at my modem and said, "That's an
old modem -- here's a new one." (I'd only had the "old modem" a few
months.) Since then, my connection has been pretty darned reliable.
